There Is No Single Path to the Sacred
Updated: 10 minutes ago
There is no single path to the sacred.
I have come to believe this more deeply as I have traveled my own journey.
We are each shaped by different experiences, different questions, different relationships, different traditions, and different moments of awakening.
What speaks deeply to one person may not speak to another.
And that is okay.
I don’t believe we are meant to all walk the same path.
For some, the sacred may be found in prayer.
For another, it may be found in nature, meditation, music, stillness, service, ritual, or simply sitting quietly and listening to what is happening within.
Sometimes the path begins with a question.
Sometimes it begins with pain.
Sometimes it begins with curiosity.
And sometimes we simply reach a point in our lives when we realize that the way we have been living no longer feels complete.
That moment can become an invitation.
An invitation to explore.
To question.
To listen.
To discover.
My work is not about telling someone what their path should be.
It is about creating space for a person to explore what is meaningful to them.
I believe there is wisdom in many traditions, practices, and ways of understanding the human experience.
We don’t have to accept everything.
We don’t have to reject everything.
We can listen.
We can question.
We can take what resonates and leave what doesn’t.
We can remain curious.
Perhaps spirituality isn’t always about finding the one right answer.
Perhaps sometimes it is about becoming willing to ask better questions.
There is no single path to the sacred.
There is your path.
And perhaps part of the journey is discovering what that means for you.
